General Information:

This tournament is designed to give youth the opportunity to play competitive basketball while having fun at the same time. Teams will be divided into brackets within the age group and are guaranteed a minimum of three games. Proceeds will benefit the Laconia Youth Basketball Club

Where:

• Laconia High School, 301 West Division St. Rosendale.
• Rosendale Intermediate School, 200 S. Main Street, Rosendale.

Team & Fee Information:

• Entry fee is $180.00 per team.
• Each team must have a minimum of 6 players and a coach, and a maximum of 12 players on a roster. Players must be on a roster in order to participate.
• A player may not be on more than one roster. Any games played with players not on the official roster will be forfeited. Rosters may be amended any time prior to the tip-off of the first game of the tournament. 
• NO ALL-STAR or AAU TEAMS. Once tip-off occurs NO more changes will be allowed for any reason.
• For all nonplayers, there will be an admission fee. Everyone is welcome!
  • $4.00 Adults, $2.00 Students, $3.00 for seniors (55 and over), $10 IMMEDIATE family pass.
• Concessions will be available.

Refund Information:

If any team needs to drop out of the tournament after the entry deadline, only half of the entry fee will be refunded.

Tournament Rules:

WIAA officials will be used and WIAA rules will be in effect, except those stated in the attached sheet. If you have any questions or concerns please call Kevin Engel @ 920-960-4708

Laconia Youth Basketball Tournament will follow WIAA High School Rules except the changes listed below.

➢ Games will consist of two 18-minute halves.

➢ Clock will only stop for whistles during the last 2 minutes of each half, any injuries, and for all time outs.

➢ Overtime will be a three-minute period. Each team receives one 30 second timeout.

➢ Timeouts - Each team will receive two time-outs per half. First half time-outs do not carry over to the second half. Second half time-outs do not carry over to the overtime(s).

➢ No pressing in 3rd grade.

➢ No pressing by 4th, 5th & 6th grade until the last two minutes of each half.

➢ No pressing for any grade that has a fifteen point lead or greater.

➢ All grades will use a regulation size women’s basketball except for 7th and 8th grade boys.

➢ Two T’s on any player or coach will be an automatic ejection. All technical will result in an automatic two points and the ball out-of-bounds. If it is against a player, it will also count as a personal foul.

➢ Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated. Failure to comply may result in the forfeiting of the game and/or tournament. Also, this conduct may result in ejection from the premises.

➢ Bonus on the 7th foul, double bonus on the 10th foul.

➢ Teams must furnish their own matching shirts with numbers. They must also provide their own balls for warm-up.

➢ Zone defenses will be allowed for 7th & 8th grades only. Each team is required to provide a score keep

Each team is required to provide a score keeper or clock operator. This person should be an adult, preferably a parent or guardian.

NO PROTESTS ALLOWED - Officials decisions are final.

If you are registering more than one team in your Organization, you will receive a $15 discount on each team's registration fee.  In order for the registration system to recognize that you are registering multiple teams, please register all of your players at this time.  On the Review Page, there is a link near the bottom to "Register Another Team" - please click on this link to ensure that all of your players are registered within the same order.
